In a press release last week, Scion revealed new details about the upcoming FR-S Series 2.0, and here at Chicago Northside Toyota Scion, we're pretty excited about the news.
Already a stylish sports car, the new FR-S represents a push towards an even more luxurious look. Camel trim and accent stitching are prevalent throughout the interior, and the heated seats are wrapped in black Alacantara and leather. Only one thousand models will be available, and each one will have its number embroidered on the dash. The exterior aesthetic is embellished by 17-inch allow wheels, and an aero kit with both front lip and trunk spoilers.The FR-S comes with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. According to Scion VP, Andrew Gilleland, the new FR-S is the "perfect car to take from the race track during the day to the red carpet that evening."
