If you want a truck that's built for urban driving, the 2017 Toyota Tacoma is a perfect match. The Toyota Tacoma takes to the Chicago roads with bold style and bolder performance. While its compact size and high-tech features make it a natural fit for the city roads, it also has the off-road capabilities and payload capacity to handle weekend adventures off the beaten path. Take a closer look at the Toyota Tacoma at Chicago Northside Toyota, and feel free to sneak a peek at our new inventory online for more information.
Powerhouse Performance
The Toyota Tacoma is powered by one of two engine options. The 2.7L 4-cylinder engine delivers 159 hp with 180 lb-ft of torque, while the available 3.5L V6 amplifies that power to 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the V6 can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Add the V6 Tow Package to boost that figure to 6,400 pounds! That means you'll have no problem hauling furniture and other finds to your home, so you can skip the rental truck. If you want to escape the city in favor of greener scenery, the Tacoma is also well-known for its exceptional off-road performance with options like Crawl Control and Multi-terrain Select.
Top-Notch Technology
The Toyota Tacoma combines brains and brawn to form the ultimate urban pickup. Inside the cabin, you'll find technology-packed features that make your daily drive a little easier. The available Qi-compatible charger allows you to charge your electronics wirelessly, so you can keep the clutter at bay. When you're ready to hit the road, use the available Entune Audio system to access traffic reports and phone apps from a glowing touch screen. If you find a free parking space, feel free to use the integrated backup camera to swiftly maneuver into position. Don't forget about handy options like available Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to enhance your safety on the road.
